Topical Biomedics names winner of second annual Topricin Travel Photo Contest

RHINEBECK, N.Y. — Topical BioMedics on Thursday named the winners of their second annual Topricin Travel Photo Contest.

The company asked customers to snap photographs of “Where in the World” they take the topical pain reliever Topricin. Fans answered the call by providing images from around the globe.

Winners were selected based on photo composition, creativity and product presence. 

The grand prize was awarded to Mike and Carrie Kinison of Haines, Alaska, for their clever and fun image of  “Topricin after a friendly mauling” featuring Carrie surrounded by their pack of  dogs, holding a jar of Topricin above her head. This is the second year in a row the Kinisons won top prize. Last year’s award-winning photo featured Mike panning for gold in Nome, stating “Topricin is worth more than its weight in gold.”

As the Grand prizewinners, the Kinisons receive a year’s supply of Topricin — a 4 oz. jar delivered each month.

“'Where in the World is Topricin’ is a popular contest, and we’ll be looking forward to holding it again, starting Feb. 1, 2013," stated Lou Paradise, Topical BioMedics president and chief of research.
