UpSpring’s Milkflow lactation cookies get Target launch
Upspring is bringing its Milkflow products to Target. The Milkflow lactation cookies and lactation cookie mixes recently hit the retailer’s stores across the country. The products join the Milkflow line of supplements for breastfeeding, which includes drink mixes and capsules.
Milkflow lactation cookies and the cookie mixes contain fenugreek and blessed thistle, two herbs meant to help naturally promote breast milk supply, UpSpring said. The company has developed a proprietary process to improve the taste of the naturally bitter fenugreek to allow it to be used in the cookies and cookie mix.
"A lot of time and love went into creating a product that would not only provide moms with a science-backed formula they could trust, but would taste great as well, and we could not be happier with the end result," said Lisa Williamson, co-founder and CEO of UpSpring. "At UpSpring we are passionate about bringing innovative products to help improve health and wellness for mom and baby, and with our new Milkflow Cookies our goal is to provide a delicious and convenient way to help naturally promote breast milk supply and, ultimately, make the process of breastfeeding a bit easier along the way."
The Milkflow lactation cookies and cookie mixes are available in double chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin flavors. The prebaked cookies retail for $21.99 and the mixes retail for $19.99 each, the company said.
