A year after its launch, vitamin and supplement delivery service Vitamin Packs has rebranded as Persona. The Seattle-based company said that its new name reflects its personalized approach to nutrition, which includes personalized daily packs of vitamins, as well as on-call nutritionists and dietitians offering customer support.
The company said that since its launch last year, more than 400,000 consumers have taken its online assessment that can it said creates more than 5 trillion potential nutrition recommendation combinations. The assessment also cross-references more than 650 prescription drugs to help customers avoid drug-nutrient interactions, Persona said.
"Persona is leading the way in personalized nutrition. Acknowledging and recognizing drug-nutrient interactions is vital and something most consumers don't take into consideration," said Michael Roizen, Persona science advisory board member and Cleveland Clinic wellness officer "Persona subscribers can take advantage of the industry's breakthrough technology utilizing the curated survey to help find the ideal supplement regimen that works for their wellness needs."
Alongside the relaunch, the Persona will be donating 100% of its net sales to Vitamin Angels on Aug. 8.
