OMAHA, Neb. — Employees of Hy-Vee’s specialty pharmacy subsidiary, Amber Pharmacy, came out on top of a recent patient satisfaction survey conducted by Zitter Health Insights. After asking some 3,000 patients at 38 American specialty pharmacies, Amber Health’s nurses, pharmacy technicians and billing department earned scores of 100% and their customer service representatives scored 95%.
“At Amber Pharmacy, we live our company values of integrity, compassion, reliability and respect every day,” Amber Pharmacy president Aaron Wiese. “These results further demonstrate our focus on patient-centered care.”
One of the survey’s key components was the Net Promoter Score, which measures patients’s willingness to recommend their pharmacy to another person. Amber Pharmacy earned a NPS score of 74, which was the second highest of all the pharmacies assessed and 23 points higher than the average score.
Among therapeutic areas, Amber Pharmacy had a NPS of 83 in the transplant category and was in the top two pharmacies for oncology and rheumatoid arthritis.
