A&P continues participation in CVS Caremark's PBM network

MONTVALE, N.J. In the wake of the battle between CVS Caremark and Walgreens, at least one competitor is promoting its participation in the CVS Caremark PBM network.

Grocer A&P has announced that its pharmacies at A&P, SuperFresh, Waldbaum's, Pathmark and Food Basics banner stores throughout the Northeast will accept the CVS Caremark plan.

Also, patients can get a free membership in the grocer's Live Better! wellness program for extra discounts of up to 25% on products throughout the store.

The company operates 429 stores in eight states and the District of Columbia under the following trade names: A&P, Waldbaum's, Pathmark, Best Cellars, The Food Emporium, Super Foodmart, SuperFresh and Food Basics.
