AssistMed, Definitive Homecare Solutions announce partnership

LOS ANGELES AssistMed and Definitive Homecare Solutions plan to make AssistMed’s patient adherence and disease-management software available to DHS’ specialty pharmacy customers, the two companies announced Tuesday.

AssistMed’s programs allow patients, providers and caregivers to collaborate using Web and mobile phone-based applications in order to monitor patients’ medication adherence and compliance.

“The need for patient adherence is particularly pronounced with specialty pharmacies,” DHS co-owner Stuart Crane said. “AssistMed’s Patient Adherence Solutions provide innovative, cost-effective tools for specialty pharmacies to engage patients in their treatment, improving patient outcomes.”
