10/2/2015

WHIPPANY, N.J. — Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals’ U.S. division has a new president. The company announced Thursday that longtime Bayer veteran Habib Dable would be taking over as president its U.S. pharmaceutical business, reporting to Philip Blake, who is the head of region Americas for Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals and heads up U.S. corporate functions for the company.

“Habib Dable is a highly respected leader at Bayer, and I'm thrilled to have someone with such a wealth of experience step in to lead the company's largest pharmaceuticals market worldwide,” Blake said. “Having spent more than two decades at Bayer in a range of key roles with increasing management responsibility, Habib will be a critical asset as we look to build on our positive momentum in the U.S. to create long-term growth.”

Dable began his career at Bayer in 1994 as a sales representative, a position from which he moved to several senior roles in Japan, Canada and the U.S. where he led global product launches, among other responsibilities. Since 2013, Dable had been Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals’ global head of specialty medicine, where he oversaw oncology, ophthalmology, neurology and hematology.
