Benzer Pharmacy CEO named EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist in Fla.

TAMPA, Fla. — Benzer Pharmacy’s CEO is in the running for an entrepreneurship award from Ernst & Young. Manish Patel has been named a finalist for the 2016 EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in Florida, an award that recognizes entrepreneurs demonstrating success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.  

 

“I am extremely honored to be named an EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 finalist in Florida and to be listed among this impressive group of entrepreneurs," Patel said. Patel helped found Benzer Pharmacy in 2009, and he oversees the pharmacy chain’s core business management and development. During his tenure, he has introduced the company medication synchronization program. 

 

Winners will be announced at a June 9 gala at Tampa’s Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Regional winners are eligible to be considered for EY’s national award program. Patel is the second member of Benzer’s c-suite to be recognized for excellence. The company’s CFO was named a finalist in the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2016 CFO of the Year award.
