BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy joins NASP as founding member

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy has joined the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy as a Silver Founding Member, the organization announced Wednesday. BioPlus is now one of over 70 founding and corporate members of NASP.

“The nation's leading specialty pharmacies continue to join and support NASP, the only national organization for all stakeholders in the industry,” NASP COO Robert A. Fulcher said.  “We are especially pleased that an innovative specialty pharmacy like BioPlus has chosen to become one of our Founding Members. NASP continues to attract the leaders in the specialty pharmacy industry."

As one of specialty pharmacy industry leaders, the Florida-based BioPlus provides hepatitis C, multiple sclerosis, and other chronic condition treatment and works to initiate prior authorizations the same day they are received, reducing the fill time to fewer than four days. Additionally, the company has two apps, one that allows physicians to see patients’ pharmacy chart, and one that offers treatment guidance for doctors. It has also developed the IRIS Insights payer dashboard.
