Cardinal Health names pharmaceutical segment CEO
Cardinal Health has tapped Victor Crawford as CEO of its pharmaceutical segment, effective Nov. 12. He will report to Cardinal Health CEO Mike Kaufmann.
"We are thrilled to welcome Victor to the organization as he brings a wealth of direct experience with many of our customers and clearly understands the complexities of global supply chain management in the healthcare arena," Kaufmann said in a statement. "His strategic focus on customer relationships and in-depth knowledge of institutional management systems will help us build on the success of the various components of our pharmaceutical business, including specialty solutions, nuclear and pharmaceutical distribution."
Crawford managed Aramark's health care and higher education businesses providing dining solutions to hospitals, colleges and universities. Before joining Aramark in 2012, Victor served as president of field operations at Pepsi Beverages and led the company's North American operating business, as well as guided the field leadership in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Prior to that, he was executive vice president of supply chain and system transformation.
