CVS Caremark hosts annual All Kids Can baseball camps

WOONSOCKET, R.I. This year's CVS Caremark All Kids Can baseball camps brought together nine baseball teams, providing a memorable sports experience to nearly 200 New England youth baseball players, the company announced on Monday.

For the sixth season, the team endeavor by CVS Caremark and the Boston Red Sox brought together New England children with disabilities through baseball camps at Fenway. The children had the opportunity to play ball at Fenway and work one-on-one with Red Sox hitting coach Dave Magadan.

Each CVS Caremark All Kids Can baseball camp included hitting tips and instruction in the Red Sox batting cage with Magadan, as well as on-field batting practice, a photo opportunity and lunch in the Red Sox dugout, a visit from Red Sox mascot Wally the Green Monster, a VIP tour of Fenway Park, early entry to the evening's Red Sox batting practice and tickets to the evening's game in the CVS/pharmacy family section.

Since its inception, 54 camps have been held at Fenway, reaching roughly 900 New England children with disabilities. The camps are part of CVS Caremark's national philanthropic All Kids Can program, which focuses on helping children with disabilities learn, play and succeed in life.
