CVS Caremark named in Fortune's 2010 Top 500 list

WOONSOCKET, R.I. CVS Caremark announced on Thursday that Fortune magazine has ranked the company No. 1 in its industry sector and 18th on the 2010 Fortune 500 list, the magazine's annual list of U.S. companies ranked by revenue.

The ranking follows Fortune's recent naming of CVS Caremark as the No. 1 most-admired company in its industry, the Food and Drug Stores sector, as part of the magazine's annual listing of the World's Most Admired companies. CVS Caremark also was named to the 100 Best Corporate Citizens List published earlier this year by Corporate Responsibility magazine.
