Dermik launches AcneHeroes.com

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. Dermik Laboratories, which is a business of Sanofi-Aventis who manufactures the acne drug BenzaClin, today announced the launch of a new Web site called AcneHeroes.com, which is designed to educate teens and parents about acne by providing answers to their acne-related questions and give them skincare tips.

The site also features podcasts, streaming video with “Hannah Montana” star Cody Linley and a question and answer section with Jessica Wu, clinical instructor in dermatology at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. Wu said the Web site offers a special section designed with tips for parents on how to help their teens deal with acne and remind them they are not alone. “Parents need to understand that if left untreated, acne can worsen and have an impact on a teenager’s appearance.”
