Diplomat Pharmacy names VP innovation and process improvement

FLINT, Mich.— Diplomat Pharmacy on Wednesday announced the addition of Martino Luu to their senior leadership team as VP innovation and process improvement. In this role, Luu will work with various Diplomat business units to evaluate current processes and make recommendations for improvements to increase efficiency. 

 

"Martino will be instrumental in assisting with the implementation of recommended process changes," Diplomat president Gary Kadlec said. "He brings significant industry knowledge to Diplomat and has the experience necessary to drive efficiencies that address the challenges of the specialty pharmacy space."

 

Most recently, Luu has worked as a management consultant with DavitaRx, implementing streamlined processes across many facets of their business. Prior to working with DavitaRx, Luu served as the director operations, senior director of clinical services and business process champion at Medco Health Solutions. Additional executive experience includes serving as COO at Natural Health Remedies.

 

In addition to his extensive senior leadership experience in business processes, operations, clinical and IT, Luu holds a license to practice pharmacy in New Jersey, Texas, Tennessee and Florida.

 

Luu earned a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from Rutgers College of Pharmacy and a master of business administration degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Luu resides in New Jersey with his family.
