Drive DeVilbliss opens 4th DC due to increased DME demand

PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. – On June 1, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare will open a fourth distribution center in Indianapolis in order to meet a growing demand for Drive DeVilbiss products, the company announced Tuesday.


“This demonstrates our commitment to our customers,” stated Harvey Diamond, CEO Drive DeVilbiss. “Customers who are serviced by the new distribution center will have access to the entire Drive DeVilbiss product portfolio. We will continue to optimize our supply chain to provide better value and improved service levels to our customers.”


The new state-of-the-art distribution center will house the entire Drive DeVilbiss product line. Similar to the other Drive DeVilbiss distribution centers located in South Brunswick, N.J., Atlanta and Rialto, Calif., the Indianapolis facility features the latest in warehouse automation to ensure orders are processed, picked and shipped quickly and accurately.


Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare manufactures a complete line of durable medical equipment including mobility products, beds, bariatric products, wheelchairs, sleep surfaces and pressure prevention products, respiratory equipment, self-assist products, power operated wheelchairs, rehabilitation products, patient room equipment, personal care products and electrotherapy devices.
