Executives gathered in Palm Beach, Fla., last month for NACDS Annual Meeting. Highlights included a first chance to hear former Speaker of the House John Boehner refer to Ted Cruz as “Lucifer” during a discussion of the presidential candidates — a week before CNN quoted Boehner’s colorful name calling; H-E-B chief merchant and CFO Martin Otto accepted the gavel as the new NACDS chairman, and long-time DSN friend Dale Nepsa of Hyland’s was the guest of honor at a surprise retirement party.
