During the 2018 National Association of Chain Drug Store’s Total Store Expo, which was held in Denver at the end of August, Drug Store News sat down with Christie Welton, clinical executive at Elsevier
Welton discussed the company’s role in helping fix the time-consuming obstacle of healthcare companies having to update their drug databases, which includes providing daily updates on product information, pricing and clinical content.
In addition, she said Elsevier makes its platform easy to use by allowing customers to update their own databases on their own schedule, and doing quite a bit of prep work with drug files before delivering them to customers.
