e-pill launches new MedTime Plus reminder, dispensing system

WELLESLEY, Mass — Medication adherence solutions company e-pill announced Wednesday that it had started selling its MedTime PLUS Medication Reminder and Dispensing system.

The system reminds patients to take their medication, dispensing the proper dosage at a programmed time, and can also report non-compliance. Some of the system’s new features are a louder alarm, as well as the ability for the alarm to last up to five hours and a dispensing door that automatically locks. It can also be programmed to begin dispensing at a future date, which the company says is useful for patients returning home from the hospital.
