Elephant appoints new director of pharmacy

BERKELEY, Calif. Elephant Pharmacy has appointed Peter Koshland as its new director of pharmacy and compounding.

A graduate of the University of California, San Francisco, School of Pharmacy, Koshland first joined Elephant in 2005 as the pharmacist-in-charge at its store in San Rafael, Calif., where he headed its custom prescription compounding service.

In his new role, Koshland now oversees operation of pharmacies at Elephant’s stores including all recruiting and training of pharmacists. Elephant currently operates four stores in the San Francisco Bay Area.
