FDA approves Aurobindo's allergic rhinitis generic

NEW YORK The Food and Drug Administration has approved a generic version of a prescription drug for treating allergic rhinitis.

Generic drug maker Aurobindo Pharma announced the approval of its cetirizine hydrochloride syrup in the 1-mg per milliliter strength.

The drug is a generic version of Johnson & Johnson’s Zyrtec.
