SILVER SPRING, Md. — The Food and Drug Administration has approved Aurobindo Pharma’s generic Zomig (zolmitriptan) tablets, the company announced Wednesday. The drug is indicated for acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults.
Aurobindo’s tablets will be available in 2.5- and 5-mg dosage strengths. The drug had sales of about $60.3 million in the U.s. for the 12 months ended March 2016, according to IMS Health.
