Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback to deliver keynote address at NACDS conference

ALEXANDRIA, Va. A conference for retailer and supplier supply chain executives and logistics professionals will feature a football star as its keynote speaker.

The National Association of Chain Drug Stores' Supply Chain and Logistics Conference will have former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach kick off the three-day conference with a keynote address. The conference, which will be held in San Antonio, Texas, from Feb. 28 through March 2, seeks to network and interact with the ultimate goals of creating and strengthening business opportunities and gaining a better understanding of key industry issues and trends,

The conference will bring supply chain management partners together to foster better collaboration to strengthen the vital link between manufacturers and retailers, and to assist industry partners to position themselves for the future, which may require increased performance and technologically-driven efficiencies at lower supply chain and consumer costs.

NACDS will be hosting six education sessions, two business programs, breakout sessions and panel discussions throughout the conference.
