Hudson Physicians plans walk-in clinic for this summer

HUDSON, Wis. Hudson Physicians, a division of Western Wisconsin Medical Associates, is expected to open this summer a walk-in healthcare clinic dubbed Hudson Physicians Quick Care, according to a local news report.

The clinic, to be located within County Market in Hudson, will be staffed by physician assistants or nurse practitioners who are supervised by physicians.

The clinic, which will be open seven days a week with evening hours, will treat such minor ailments as colds and sore throats, as well as some preventative services like physical exams, immunizations and flu shots, the report stated.

No appointment will be necessary and most visits will take about 15 minutes. Those patients with a more serious condition will be referred to physicians at nearly Hudson Physicians clinic, the report stated.
