Hy-Vee to raise funds for Type 1 diabetes patients

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa A regional supermarket and retail pharmacy chain is going back in time to support patients with Type 1 diabetes.

Hy-Vee announced that it would sponsor a 1950s-style sock hop to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, on Feb. 13.

Hy-Vee operates 228 stores in eight Midwestern states.
