Innovation's PharmASSIST solution unveiled at WellDyneRx
JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. A company that makes pharmacy automation technology announced Thursday that a national pharmacy benefit manager has adopted its prescription dispensing system at its new pharmacy mail service facility.
Innovation, makers of PharmASSIST pharmacy automation solutions, said that PBM WellDyneRx implemented the PharmASSIST High Volume system at 66,000-square-foot its facility in Lakeland, Fla., earlier this month.
“We are very excited that our continued business growth is allowing us to expand into the Florida market,” WellDyneRx president and CEO Damien Lamendola said in a statement. “During this period of tough economic times, it is especially rewarding to be involved in a business that is creating new employment opportunities.”
The system includes two RDS ROBOTx units with 720 dispensers, three PharmASSIST cabinets with 150 dispensers, remote pneumatic vial delivery, a multi-tiered conveying unit with RFID tracking and several workstations, all using PharmASSIST Symphony workflow software.
