Kmart to open walk-in clinic

LEWES, Del. Beebe Medical Center will be opening a walk-in clinic at the Rehoboth Beach-area Kmart, according to published reports.

The walk-in clinic is designed to provide non-emergency care when a physician’s office visit is not available, and will be open during the same hours of the Kmart pharmacy.

To be called the Beebe Health Center, the clinic marks the first opening of an in-store clinic for both Beebe and Kmart, the reports stated.

The clinic will have two exam rooms and be located in the front of the store. It will be staffed with a receptionist and a nurse practitioner with a back-up, on-call physician.
