Lambrecht appointed VP for research at Aurora Health

MILWAUKEE Randall Lambrecht has been appointed Aurora Health Care’s vice president for research and academic relations, Aurora announced Thursday.

Labrecht will lead the Milwaukee-based non-profit health care provider’s research team, working closely with the integrated health system’s care management team to ensure the alignment of research and care management when he begins his job on Nov. 3. He will also be responsible for strengthening Aurora’s partnership with colleges and universities around Milwaukee.

Before accepting the position at Aurora, Lambrecht had been dean of the College of Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he is a professor in the Department of Health Sciences.

“Aurora is recognized nationally for its leadership in efforts to improve health care and their research and academic programs are important aspects of finding new approaches to meeting the health needs of people and communities,” Lambrecht said.
