The Little Clinic CFO receives award
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. The CFO of The Little Clinic was the recipient of the CFO of the year award in the small private company category at The Nashville Business Journal's 2009 CFO Awards.
Rob Pantoja was one of five finalists in this category. The Nashville Business Journal cited Pantoja’s innovative leadership style, proactive problem solving ability and resolve to take on responsibilities in various aspects of the company as reasons for his success as CFO. In addition to working with finance at The Little Clinic, he also contributes to human resources, information technology, legal, accounting, billing and managed care payer contracting. He has been an integral part in the growth of the company, which has expanded from 16 to 125 locations since March 2007.
Pantoja has over 19 years experience in healthcare finance. Before coming to The Little Clinic, he served as EVP and CFO for Diversified Specialty Institutes. Prior to that, Pantoja worked for hospital owner/operator companies in several capacities such as chief accounting officer, controller, VP Finance and treasurer for Province Healthcare and CAO and controller for LifePoint Hospitals. Pantoja is a graduate of the University of Louisville and is a Certified Public Accountant.
The Little Clinic currently manages clinics in eleven states, including locations in: Atlanta, Cincinnati, Columbus, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Lexington, Louisville, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, Phoenix, Richmond, Sarasota, Tampa, Toledo, Vero Beach and West Palm Beach, among other cities.
