Longs Drug announces flu vaccination offerings for fall, winter seasons

Longs has announced that it will offer flu immunizations at more than 400 stores in three Western states to help residents of those communities Longs will also host flu clinics conducted by Maxim Health Systems, starting in October and running through November.

Vaccinations will be available at select Longs Drugs stores to persons over 4 years in the pharmacy or during a clinic.

In addition to traditional vaccinations, Longs Drugs will also offer  FluMist nasal flu vaccine, to eligible patients by appointment at select stores. The FluMist vaccine will be available October through the end of January, or as long as supplies last.
