Medicine Shoppe tech awarded national honor

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio A pharmacy technician from Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy was nationally honored as the Technician of the Month by the Professional Compounding Centers for America for the month of May, according to published reports.

Ian Roush won the award and when interviewed by an industry magazine, he said that he also helps come up with ideas to help compounding pharmacists fill unmet prescription needs, and to make doctors aware of compounding options.

For example, he told the magazine of “a proposal for several dermatologists in the area to show them different compounds we can prepare, such as a Vitamin B-12 cream.”
