Mylan adds three strengths to fentanyl transdermal system

POTTERS BAR, England and PITTSBURGH — Mylan launched its fentanyl transdermal system in 37.5-, 62.5- and 87.50-mcg/hr dosage strengths in the United States, which will accompany its existing offering of the drug in strengths of 12, 25, 50, 75 and 100 mcg/hr. According to Mylan, it’s the only manufacturer that offers Fentanyl Transdermal System in eight dosage strengths. 

 

Fentanyl transdermal system's existing strengths — including the 12, 25, 50, 75 and 100 mcg/hr — had sales in the United States of $767 million for the 12 months ending Sept. 30, 2014, according to data from IMS Health.
