Mylan launches first 200-mg Doryx generic

PITTSBURGH — Mylan recently launched its generic of Doryx (doxycycline hyclate) 200-mg delayed-release tablets. The drug is indicated as an adjunctive treatment for severe acne. 

 

Mylan will have 180 days of marketing exclusivity for the product, which had U.S. sales of about $181.8 million in the 12 months ended March 31, according to IMS Health.
