PITTSBURGH — Mylan on Thursday announced the launch of lamivudine tablets, 100 mg, the generic version of Epivir-HBV from GlaxoSmithKline. The drug is used to treat chronic hepatitis B virus infection, the company stated.
Lamivudine tablets in 100-mg dosage strength had U.S. sales of $18.1 million for the 12 months ending Sept. 30, 2014, according to IMS Health data.
