Navarro Discount Pharmacies opens unique 'window' of opportunity

MIAMI Navarro Discount Pharmacies, a Hispanic-owned pharmacy retailer with 28 locations in Miami, has opened a pediatric prescription window in one of its stores to help expedite service for parents.

The pediatric window can be found in the pharmacy located at 3949 S.W. 8 St. in Miami (one block from Coral Gables).

"Mothers are usually pressed for time and for children, it is important to get their medication as soon as possible," stated Albert Garcia, EVP pharmacy for Navarro.

As part of its healthy children philosophy, the pediatric window was created to assist parents of children with urgent health needs who require medication immediately. The window is identified with specific signage and provides expedited service and attention by a dedicated Navarro representative who takes the prescription, consults with the pharmacist and ensures that it is promptly dispensed.

The area next to the pediatric window has been made “child friendly” and features a table, books, toys, coloring books and crayons.
