New QuickChek store in N.J. truly offers one-stop shopping
BEACHWOOD, N.J. --- N.J.-based chain QuickChek is taking the convenience store model to a new level with the opening of its first fresh market store offering pharmacy services and fuel.
The company will open a new 7,460-square-foot store at 533 Atlantic City Boulevard in Beachwood, just down the road from its current store, on July 18. The new store will be open 24 hours a day, enabling customers to create delicious custom-made oven-toasted fresh subs, sandwiches, wraps and salads and personalized hot and cold beverages exactly as they want them, any time of day or night.
Added conveniences include an in-store pharmacy providing fast, convenient prescription services with personalized attention as well as eight gasoline pumps offering high-quality fuel at value prices.
“We are excited to open our first store that offers all of our convenience items in one location as we continue to serve the Beachwood community,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling, whose family-owned company operates 143 store locations, including 10 with pharmacies and 55 with fuel, throughout New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island.
QuickChek stores provide one-stop shopping, offering a wide variety of grocery and market items including fresh baked goods from an in-store bakery and excellent customer service provided by locally hired team members. The company continues to expand its mobile ordering menu to meet the needs of today’s on-the-go consumer.
QuickChek’s coffee was voted the best in America in a national consumer survey by Technomic in 2014.
In addition to its renowned coffee wall, the new store will feature friendly baristas who custom make more than 60 varieties of handcrafted hot and iced cold drinks, including blended-to-order fruit smoothies and fresh-brewed espressos brewed with QuickChek’s Dark Roast espresso beans in regular, decaf and extra shots.
Open seven days a week, the QuickChek Pharmacy Department carries a full line of health and beauty aid products at competitive prices. The pharmacy also provides complete immunization services including vaccines for flu, shingles, hepatitis A&B, meningitis and more. All major prescription insurance plans are accepted.
Additional amenities for the new Beachwood store include no-fee ATMs, which provide additional added value to consumers; outdoor seating for 16; eight gasoline pumps offering high-quality fuel at value prices; and 49 parking spaces.
