PDX intros Turn Rx for inventory management
Fort Worth, Texas-based pharmacy technology provider PDX has unveiled its predictive inventory management solution Turn Rx. The platform is designed to use dynamic order points, product linking and flexible predictive algorithms to meet the inventory needs of its pharmacy clients, the company said.
Turn Rx offers a web interface that lets pharmacy operators manage and track inventory on a store and corporate level, automating the daily order process and offering inventory replenishment rules at store, region and chain levels. It weaves inventory control into the daily pharmacy workflow, allowing staff to perform cycle counts as a natural part of the filling process, which PDX said. It is fully integrated with PDX’s Enterprise Pharmacy System and is flexible to integrate with any wholesaler.
Turn RX also offers a near real-time view of a pharmacy’s inventory by using customizable dashboards that use visualization tools to offer a full look at inventory and provide actionable inventory data.
“We have developed an inventory management solution that has access to thousands of data points, which in turn delivers an unmatched wealth of information to our customers to ultimately improve their bottom line,” PDX vice president of strategic projects John Foss said.
