PDX, VUCA Health partnership to widen MedsOnCue network

FORT WORTH, Texas — Pharmacy software company PDX and VUCA Health announced a partnership Thursday that would bring VUCA’s patient engagement platform MedsOnCue to PDX customers. As a result of the partnership, PDX pharmacies will have access to prescription-specific patient videos.

“By incorporating on-demand medication videos in the PDX platform, we are able to deliver enhanced integrated technologies and services to fill the needs of pharmacies nationwide,” PDX CEO Jeff Farris said. “This integration further supports our mission of developing innovative solutions that make our customer-partners stronger, more competitive, and empowered to grow in the evolving marketplace while doing our part to support health literacy and medication adherence.”

The MedsOnCute video briefings can be tailored to a patient’s medications and other healthcare requirements to educate them about how to properly use the medication and explain possible side effects and benefits.
