PipelineRx bolsters Western presence in telepharmacy with QPM acquisition

SAN FRANCISCO — PipelineRx — a clinical telepharmacy platform company — has acquired Quality Pharmacy Management, which provides remote pharmacy services in six Western states, for an undisclosed amount.



With a mission of providing remote pharmacy solutions to hospitals and integrated delivery networks, Denver-based QPM strengthens PipelineRx's existing presence in Colorado, Utah, Oregon, Wyoming, and Alaska. The management team of QPM will join PipelineRx to help lead the development of innovations in technology and clinical processes.



Telemedicine is expected to reach $30 billion globally by 2016, and telepharmacy is a key element of that market.
