IRVINE, Calif. — Cloud-based services company PrescribeWellness on Thursday announced a new partnership with the Independent Pharmacy Alliance, a trade group and retail pharmacy buying cooperative with more than 3,000 members in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
“Our partnership with IPA allows us to make an immediate impression with their members and offer our solutions which have been proven to increase customer loyalty, patient adherence, and pharmacy Star Ratings,” PrescribeWellness president and CEO Al Babbington said. “Our goal is to improve the health of America through the community pharmacist, and our partnership with IPA — one of the largest and most influential pharmacy groups in the country — will help us reach that goal.”
The agreement will bring PrescribeWellness’ suite of services to all IPA members.
“We are pleased to announce our new business relationship with PrescribeWellness,” IPA president and executive director John Giampolo said. “PrescribeWellness offers solutions that are designed to elevate the pharmacist’s role in providing coordinated and preventive healthcare services to their patients. We believe this will be a great opportunity for our members.”
