SPARTANBURG, S.C. — QS/1 on Friday released a new pharmacy-to-agency interface for electronic records and documentation provider Therap, which is used in long-term care environments for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“Agencies that support people with special needs use Therap to document medical information,” QS/1 market analyst Lisa Fowler said. “The PrimeCare interface to Therap will allow these agencies to securely send and receive information with pharmacies to serve individuals more quickly and accurately.”
QS/1’s PrimeCare is the first pharmacy management system to interface with Therap.
“We are delighted to have implemented this interface with QS/1, which now allows our customers to receive and work with data coming directly from their pharmacy in real time,” Therap COO Justin Brockie said. “We believe this will further enhance the support to people with disabilities that our customers provide.”
