SPARTANBURG, S.C. — QS/1 on Thursday announced a new addition to its line of pharmacy solutions, a document management system called QDM. The system integrates into QS/1’s NRx Pharmacy Management System to make it easier for pharmacies to customize and automatically populate form information.
“QDM goes beyond traditional document management programs where you scan and save documents for future reference,” QS/1 market analyst Charles Adams said. “QDM is a communication tool that can be used to assess patients, track therapeutic progress and improve outcomes.”
QDM can be used to create such documents as immunization, medication therapy management, patient outcome, patient assessment, patient transfer, patient profile and medication synchronization forms, as well as others. The documents are encrypted when stored on the QDM server.
“QDM will help pharmacies manage document workflow by allowing them to both create any number of document queues and automatically route documents” Adams added. “We are excited to take document management to new heights.”
