Report: Bartell Drugs to open additional in-store clinics

SEATTLE — Following a successful test of three in-store health clinics, Bartell Drugs is looking to expand the initiative and roughly double the number of clinics in 2015, according to a local news report.



The Puget Sound Business Journal reported that the pharmacy retailer plans to open four or five CareClinics this year.



Seattle-based Bartell Drugs, which has 63 pharmacy locations, operates the CareClinics in partnership with Group Health Cooperative. The clinics are staffed with nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants.
