Report: FDA accepts application for first digital medication

SILVER SPRING, Md. — Med Device Online is reporting that the Food and Drug Administration has acceptd a new drug application from Ostuka Pharmaceuticals and Proteus Digital Health for a medication that contains an ingestible sensor tracking a patient’s adherence and their response.
