Report: Office of Generic Drugs head steps down

WASHINGTON The head of the Food and Drug Administration’s generic drug division is stepping down to work at a different FDA office, according to published reports.

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that Gary Buehler would leave his job as director of the Office of Generic Drugs and would work instead at the Office of Pharmaceutical Science.

Office of Pharmaceutical Science deputy director Keith Webber will temporarily replace Buehler.
