Rite Aid signs eRx Network for electronic transaction services
FORT WORTH, Texas eRx Network, a provider of electronic transaction services to the retail pharmacy industry, announced last week that it will provide transaction processing and revenue cycle management services for Medicare Part B claims, state Medicaid DME claims and clinical administration programs to Rite Aid.
The services will provide the company with tools to better identify and service Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries in addition to improve its management of claim reimbursement, the company said.
“Our company is very excited to announce this expanded relationship with Rite Aid,” stated Murray Lyle, president and chief operating officer, eRx Network. “We are thrilled Rite Aid has chosen to draw on our more than 10 years of experience with real-time processing and revenue cycle management.”
eRx Network provides services to more than 42,000 retail pharmacies through its secure performance-oriented network.
“Our relationship with eRx Network will allow Rite Aid to effectively manage reimbursement of Medicare Part B and state Medicaid DME claims,” commented Bill Wolfe, Rite Aid group vice president, managed care and government affairs.
