Ron Baker appointed to DemandTec board of directors

SAN CARLOS, Calif. DemandTec has appointed Ron Baker to the company’s board of directors and to its audit committee. The company offers retailers technology to help achieve revenue, profitability and sales volume objectives.

Baker last worked for Nestle USA in 2002, before he retired; he was the senior vice president of logistics, with the responsibility for purchasing, supply chain, distribution and customer service and information technology. He was also a member of the company’s executive leadership team. Baker also worked for Nestle Foods as vice president and executive vice president of finance.
