RxHub, Zynchros partner to promote e-prescribing
SEATTLE RxHub and Zynchros have joined together to promote automation and to help the effort to improve the exchange of formulary data for health care payers. The companies Formulary Data Quality Initiative accelerates the adoption of e-prescribing and delivers significant improvements in the accuracy and consistency of formulary data within the electronic prescribing process.
The system allows for loading and updating of formulary status lists and coverage lists and supports lists including: age limits, drug exclusion, gender limits, medical necessity, prior authorization, quantity limits, step medication, step therapy and text messages.
