SaveMart, Kellogg's launch 'Ask the Save Mart Pharmacist' on Fresno radio

MODESTO, Calif. The pharmacies of SaveMart Supermarkets, as part of a co-sponsorship with Kellogg’s, on Friday announced the launch of its “Ask the SaveMart Pharmacist” segment on Fresno’s KMJ 580AM weekday morning drive show.

The segment, which airs at the top of the hour between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. in the KMJ News Breaks, first debuted March 2.

“Nearly everyone has a question about their own or a family member’s medication and its effects,” stated Michele Snider, senior director pharmacy for SaveMart Supermarkets. “The ‘Ask the SaveMart Pharmacist’ program brings our pharmacists’ expertise closer to the patients we serve – to their homes, their cars, their workplaces.”

SaveMart Supermarkets operates nearly 250 stores throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada under the Save Mart, S-Mart Foods, Lucky and FoodMaxx banners.
