Solvay's Hill named to PhRMA board
MARIETTA, Ga. Solvay Pharmaceuticals president and chief executive officer Stephen Hill has been named to the board of directors of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America.
“I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues on the board of PhRMA to further the organization’s mission, address issues facing Solvay Pharmaceuticals and the entire industry and most importantly, help improve the lives of the patients we serve,” said Hill.
Before joining Solvay, Hill most recently served as president and chief executive officer of biotechnology firm ArQule since 1999. Prior to his position at ArQule, Hill was the head of global drug development at F. Hoffmann-La Roche from 1997-1999.
Hill was elected to serve a three-year term through April 2011.
