Teva launches Benicar, Benicar HCT generics

NORTH WALES, Pa. — Teva recently announced the introduction of its generic of both Benicar (olmesartan medoxomil) and Benicar HCT (olmesartan medoxomil and hydrochlorothiazide).

The company’s Benicar generic will be available in 5-, 20- and 40-mg dosage strengths, with the all three available in 30-count bottles and the 20- and 40-mg dosage strengths available in 90-count bottles.

Teva’s Benicar HCT generic will be available in 30- and 90-count bottles of 20 mg/12.5 mg, 40 mg/12.5 mg and 40 mg/25 mg dosage strengths.
